Angels and prospective angels can register an interest to join as an angel investor via our sign-up page.
There is no set minimum or maximum investment. Opportunities considered typically range from £50k to £1m investment rounds, the amount you invest is agreed directly between you and the founder.
Once you register on the Gateway Angels platform, you’ll be able to view available opportunities and choose whether to engage directly with the company.
You can also attend events, invest independently or alongside others, and subscribe to our newsletter for updates.
You’ll be notified by email whenever a new opportunity goes live on our platform and is open for investment.
Yes. The majority of our investment opportunities will qualify for the SEIS and EIS tax relief schemes.
No – joining Gateway Angels is fully funded by MSIF and currently free for investors.
Yes. All investors are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before making any investment decisions. Gateway Angels does not independently verify all information provided by founders.

- Investment rounds between £50k–£1m
- A clear business model and route to market
- Strong potential to generate revenue and scale
- SEIS or EIS eligibility where possible
- Based in the Liverpool City Region or wider North-West.
No, Gateway Angels is a network of private individuals investing their own capital.
Nothing – Gateway Angels is fully funded and free for founders.
While our primary focus is the Liverpool City Region, we also consider strong opportunities from founders across the wider North West.
